Audi E-tron



At the Auto Show in Detroit, was presented a lightweight version of the sport e-tron, performed in a body type Coupe.
New compact than its predecessor and is much easier: the mass of the car managed to reduce by 250 kg. This has been achieved by reducing the number of electric motors from four to two. Now the engines are equipped with only the rear wheels. Their total capacity of up to 201 liters. pp. this allows "light» e-tron accelerate to 100 km / h in 5,9 seconds.
In the charged lithium-ion batteries the car can travel 250 km. Charging the batteries from an ordinary electrical outlet within 11 hours. Speed is limited to new items 200 km / h.
Serial production model scheduled for 2012.
