The singer's father Alfonso Valiente had reportedly told the Daily Mail recently that the couple is preparing to wed, adding, "My future son-in-law is a really nice guy, really down-to-earth. My family all like him."
But the star, who has been dating Hamilton since 2007, quickly took to her Twitter.com page to dismiss the claims, reports Contactmusic.
She writes, "Lewis and I woke up this morning and read we were engaged! Sorry to disappoint u all but its (sic) not true."(ANI)
