Man arrested for calling cops, police say - A Jersey City man who was spitting in the direction of two cops and calling them by the Spanish word for "pigs," was arrested after a short chase last night, officials said.


Alexel R. Cotto Jr., of Fifth Street, was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. at Fourth Street and Marin Boulevard and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and obstruction of a government function, reports said. man cops broken iphone, 

The officers were writing a parking ticket at the intersection, when a group of about six males began yelling "puercos," reports said. +man called 911 five times iPhone, 

The officers asked the men why they were calling them pigs and were told it was due to past experiences with police, reports said.

The cops told the men to keep their hands in sight but Cotto refused, saying he didn't have to do anything cops told him to do, reports said.

Believing Cotto might have a weapon, the officers grabbed for his hands, but Cotto pushed away and took off running, only to be tackled and captured a short distance away, reports said.
