and the balance beam, Douglas outlasted Russia's Victoria Komova in the final event, floor exercise – nearly stepping off the mat on a brilliant Arabian double before holding it together. It's the third straight Olympic gold in the all-around for the United States, and it nearly came with a bronze. Aly Raisman equaled the score of Russia's Aliya Mustafina, but lost on a tiebreaker.
