Kobe Bryant's wife 'wants to be married to a champion

New York, Aug 16 (ANI): Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa has said that she "certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can't win championships."

Luckily for her, Bryant's Lakers have won five titles with him as their star player.

Los Angeles is right back among the favorites this coming season with the additions of point guard Steve Nash and center Dwight Howard.

"If you're sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning

championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year," the New York Post quoted her as telling the New York magazine.

Vanessa filed for divorce last year, but the split is off for now.

The two were seen together many times in London at the Olympics where Kobe helped Team USA win a second straight gold medal. (ANI)
