Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi made a $1 million profit after selling a Malibu house formerly owned by Brad Pitt.
The couple bought the luxury four-bedroom house from Pitt just seven months ago for $12 million and they have sold it recently for $13 million, according to a report by Trulia Luxe Living.
The beachside property has sweeping coastal views of the Pacific Ocean and Point Mugu State Park, a lap pool, a modern kitchen and private access to a sandy beach cove.
Pitt purchased the 4,088 square-foot home on the Encinal Bluffs after his divorce from Jennifer
Aniston. It is actually made up of two houses, but neither were big enough for his rapidly expanding family with Angelina Jolie.
DeGeneres and de Rossi have also sold their $49 million Beverly Hills mansion and relocated to a more manageable $18 million house in the exclusive Trousdale Estates area of the city. Designed by famed architect Hal Levitt and built in 1958, their new home features a swimming pool, walls of glass, soaring ceilings, several fireplaces, a library, a black-and-stainless-steel kitchen, four bedrooms and six bathrooms.
