The 65-year-old actor says the secret to his success is that he doesn’t take things too seriously. While others might crumble when life throws them a curveball, Jones thrives.
“Normal people with normal problems can be hilarious,” he told lifegoesstrong.com.
“Human beings are preposterous. I think that no matter how much you don't like yourself or the drama of your life you can still find some comedy in it. It's all about the experience. You have to laugh
about it.”
The actor has become more at home in front of the camera the older he’s got. Although other stars dread the concept of ageing and do all they can do keep it at bay, Jones has embraced his advancing years.
“Ageing? What ageing thing are you talking about,” he laughed.
“I have more fun everyday now at this age. I enjoy acting more and more than when I was 17. Acting was rather painful in those days, but I loved doing it. I have more fun. In fact, I've gotten to the point where if it's not fun, I don't want to do it.”
