to play as the pigs in Bad Piggies! The sequel to the highly-popular casual game will let players take on the perspective of the pigs and with "all new, never-before-seen" gameplay! Yep, the slingshot will be taking a hiatus in Bad Piggies.
Mikael Hed, CEO of Rovio had this to say in a press statement:
There's a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we've been constantly asked: what about the pigs' side of the story? Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes.Rovio hopes to continue Angry Birds' success which has reaped the studio with well over a billion downloads across multiple versions since release.
Bad Piggies will launch on September 27 for iOS, Android and Mac platforms, while Windows Phone, Windows 8 and PC versions are also in the planning stages. Of course, seeing as Angry Birds is almost available on anything with a screen, it's bound to pop up on your preferred platform of choice.
