Clint Eastwood reportedly talks on gay marriage at the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
Reports say that during the talk with DeGeneres, Eastwood
said that “Socially, leave everybody alone, but you believe in fiscal
responsibility and you believe in government staying out of your life.”
The actor explained that politicians in the United States are just wasting time debating about gay marriage rather than facing the greater problems of the Americans.
The topic on gay marriage was raised during the promotion of Eastwood‘s new movie “Trouble with the Curve.”
Last summer, Eastwood stirs up controversy when he appeared in the Republican National Convention and pretended to be talking with an invisible Barack Obama. He explained to DeGeneres that “The Democrats who were watching thought I was going senile, and the Republicans knew I was.”
