Patricia Heaton Insults Sandra Fluke ....

Patricia Heaton had a lot to say about the raging birth control debate in Washington last week, until she had nothing to say at all.

One of Hollywood's outspoken Republicans, the Everybody Loves Raymond star sent a series of blistering messages aimed at Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown student who was denied the right to testify before Congress and then became the target of Rush Limbaugh's flurry of mysognistic name calling.

Heaton mocked Fluke with sarcastic remarks such as "G-Gal: you’ve given yer folks great gift for
Mother’s/Father’s Day! Got up in front of whole world & said I’m having tons of sex- pay 4 it!" and "Hey G-Town: stop buying toothpaste, soap, and shampoo! You'll save money, and no one will want to sleep with you!"

She also retweeted messages from fans, including one that referenced the aspiring between the knees contraception joke made by one of GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum's top surrogates.

The actress then deleted her account, which is still down. Many of her tweets were captured in a screenshot at the "Angry Black Lady" Tumblr blog, which can be viewed here.

Heaton is a high-profile conservative who has made the pro-life movement one of her top causes. She penned a tribute to the late conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart following his passing last week.

Limbaugh has come under fire for his remarks about Fluke, with a meek apology on Saturday doing little to stop the exodus of sponsors from his show.
