Jodie foster and Kristen stewart

Kristen Stewart has a lot going for her these days. She's young. She's hot. She made $28.5 million last year.
Throw in an (almost) equally successful boyfriend and a starring role in one of the most successful movie franchises of all time and you're really starting to get somewhere.
But not everyone thought this would be Stewart's future.
Academy Award-winner Jodie Foster, who starred with a then-12-year-old Stewart in David Fincher's 2002 thriller "Panic Room," is admittedly surprised that the "Twilight" beauty wanted to get into acting at all.

Foster flatly tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I just love Kristen Stewart, but I didn't think she'd choose to be an actress."
When they were shooting "Panic Room," Foster had a heart-to-heart to Stewart's mom. "I said to her mom, 'She doesn't want that, right?' And she's like, 'Well, yes, she kind of does.'"
Hmm.
Fortunately, Foster clarifies, "Because she's very much like me: She's not comfortable in life being a big, externally emotional person, beating her chest, crying every five minutes. I felt she was such an intelligent technician, so interested in the camera — I thought that would translate into other things."
Don't worry Jodie; maybe it still will.
We're pretty sure Stewart's still got a few good years ahead of her, and we're pretty glad of that.
