Robert Pattinson, who has been in seclusion since Kristen Stewart was caught cheating with director Rupert Sanders, will make his first television appearance since the scandal, in a live interview on Good Morning America August 15th.
Pattison will uphold his promise to promote his new film, “Cosmopolis,” which opens in New York and Los Angeles on August 17.
Also scheduled for the promotional tour is an appearance by Pattinson at the film’s premiere in Manhattan on August 13.
Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, have both been laying low since photos of the actress and her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director surfaced last month.
The 26-year-old actor was reportedly spotted over the weekend with buddies in Ojai, CA.
“Robert Pattinson and his friends are at The Deer Lodge getting wasted,” Twitter user Julie Demdam posted late Saturday night.
“Rob is with some panty droppers. They’re on the dance floor dancing like crazy,” she added.
“Had to leave the bar. The Brits were getting out of hand,” she tweeted, adding, “Awesome night in Ojai. Got to hang out with a rowdy bunch of Brits & one of them happened to be Edward,” she later tweeted about the actor who plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies.
Interestingly The Deer Lodge is near the ranch of “Water for Elephants” co-star Reese Witherspoon, where it has been rumored Pattison is hiding out.
Stewart is staying at the home of producer Giovanni Agnelli and “crying non-stop,” according to reports, which also claim Pattison is extremely upset about the arrangement and accusing Kristen of having an affair with Agnelli.
