George Strait farewell

GREENSBORO, N.C. —
Country music star George Strait will perform in Greensboro as part of his farewell tour celebrating 30 years in the business.
He'll stop at the Greensboro Coliseum March 23 as part of a two-year "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour,"
coliseum officials said.
Greensboro is the only North Carolina stop on the first leg of the tour, which starts Jan. 18 in Texas.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. Along with the box office, tickets are available at Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000.
Straight, who turned 60 this year, is the only artist to have a Top 10 hit in every year that he was active in the industry.
He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
The concert takes place a week after the ACC basketball championship.
