Katie Holmes has certainly started to move on
with her life since breaking up with Tom Cruise earlier this year and a
big part of that appears to be reconnecting with people in her old life,
including former Dawson's Creek star and love interest Joshua Jackson.
Speaking on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight the actor admitted he had been in touch with his former co-star and they had had a long talk about their lives.
“Like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi how are ya? What's going on?'” he explained of the catch up.
Referring to Katie's uber famous offspring Suri, he jokes that Katie said: “'I had a kid'”
With him replying, “'Yeah, that's crazy, I heard!'”
“It was nice, it was very nice, actually.” He added.

The pair played lovers in the show and there were rumours at the time
they were romantically involved off screen too. Speaking of whether a
DC reunion could be on the cards, the Canadian star added: “Well, we
killed the show so I don't think that's ever going to happen.”“Never say never. If I'm out of work for enough years, absolutely. We'll be old and grey and nasty by the time (that happens).”
Since breaking up with 50 year-old Cruise, Katie has been making big changes in her life. Not only has she returned to the Catholic faith after converting to Scientology during her marriage, she has also had a stylish makeover.
