Karina Smirnoff may be considered the professional member of the
Ralph/Karina 2011 dance team but it wasn’t Ralph who took a tumble
during tonight’s performance – it was her!
The usually-flawless dancer got tangled in Ralph’s long coat and
ended up falling in front of the entire audience and millions of
viewers.
There’s no question that everyone has a bad day – including Maksim
Chmerkovskiy who recently messed up during a routine with his partner
Kirstie Alley – but generally it’s the stars and not the pros.
Regardless, Ralph didn’t seem to be too affected by the situation and
still managed to walk away with an impressive 24/30 for the night.
I’m pretty sure Karina will be nursing a bruised ego tonight as she’s
been known to take her dancing very seriously and is incredibly hard on
herself when it comes to her performances.
We feel bad for Karina but, hey, everyone has an off night.
You’re still one of the best dancers in the world, Karina, so don’t sweat the small stuff.
