In one of those rare acts of kindness in the wild, a lioness
befriended and cared for a baby antelope called a Uganda Kob at Queen
Elizabeth National Park in Uganda. Interestingly, this was AFTER the
lioness killed the antelope’s mother.
Even more amazing is the fact that this isn’t the only animal this
particular lioness has adopted. I’ve included a short video detailing
the story below, but there is also a short documentary highlighting this amazing story as well.
