Three michigan players suspended

The Michigan Wolverines will be a bit shorthanded when they take on South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.
College Football Talk is reporting that defensive back J.T. Floyd, linebacker Brandin Hawthorne and punter Will Hagerup have all been suspended from the Outback Bowl for violating team rules.

Michigan coach Brady Hoke released a statement on the matter.
“It is an honor to play football for the University of Michigan, and we have high standards and expectations for everyone that represents our program,” head coach Brady Hoke said in a statement. “These young men used poor judgment in each circumstance, and these suspensions are teaching moments for our team.”
Floyd is a big loss as he was named second team all Big Ten at cornerback this season.
