Pippa dropped

Pippa Middleton might have bagged herself a new boyfriend in the shape of financier Nico Jackson, but the nearly royal has been dumped by her publisher following disappointing sales of her first book 'Celebrate'.
The party planning guide was released last October and despite a fanfare launch, soon dropped down the sales charts and was lampooned for it's simplistic party tips, with a hilarious parody Twitter account @PippaTips soon set up mocking the 28 year-old.

According to The Telegraph, Middleton was paid a pre-book advance of £400,000 for the party planner by Michael Joseph, but sold just 2000 in the first week and had it's price slashed from £25 to £6.25 by WH Smith soon after.
Her literary agent David Godwin confirmed last night there would be no more tips from Pippa, saying: “I am very sorry it has happened, but yes, it is true: I no longer represent Pippa and I wish her every good luck.”
Pippa admitted the book hadn't gone to plan, writing as a guest columnist in The Spectator she said: "I have been much teased for my book,"
"Lots of journalists are saying that my advice is glaringly obvious. A spoof Twitter account called @pippatips offers such pearls as 'enjoy a glass of water by getting a clean glass and pouring in water from a tap or bottle'."
Things aren't looking too bad for the perky bottomed socialite though. She's been signed up to write a monthly column, Pippa’s Friday Night Feasts for Waitrose Kitchen magazine, starting in April's edition. We can't wait!
