Man Assaulted Near St. Patrick’s Center, ST. PETERS . Police are looking for a man accused
of sexually assaulting a woman on the parking lot of a restaurant that
was hosting a St. Patrick's Day event over the weekend.
The man
was inside of Mr. Lucky’s Restaurant & Lounge, 3603 North St. Peters
Parkway, Saturday night, but was escorted out by restaurant staff just
after 10 p.m., police said. Patrons complained that the man was going
out on the dance floor and inappropriately touching women.
Afterwards,
the man was in the parking lot, and he approached a woman, 25, who had
gone out to her vehicle to retrieve something.
Police say he forcefully sexually assaulted her inside her car. She kicked and punched him, and he eventually fled the scene.
The
man was described as Hispanic, approximately 40 years old, 5-foot-6 or
shorter, about 190 pounds, stocky build, dark hair, possibly receding
hairline and a goatee.
Mr. Lucky’s provided surveillance pictures
of the suspect inside their establishment earlier in the evening. The
images are grainy, but police still hope they will inspire some tips.
