Not content with turning her brood into America's most dynamic industry, it seems that Kardashian matriarch and 'momager' Kris Jenner wants to replace Sharon Osborne on American Idol.Sharon fell out with NBC over the networks alleged discrimination towards her son Jack, alleging that the dare devil was fired due to his multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
But according to Hollywood Life Kris wants to cash in on Sharon's fury and take up a judging role on the panel, reporting that the information comes from "a source close to the situation".
What qualifies Kris to judge prospective singers is not something elaborated on, but then Ms Jenner has form
of turning up on reality shows which aren't her strict area of expertise, appearing on America's Next Top Model in a specially themed episode.
While Sharon was never a pop or rock star herself, her father was a legendary rock manager whom she followed into the profession, marrying Black Sabbath frontman Ozzie Osborne.
According to the publication Osborne made clear her desire to move on saying: “They can’t make me do something I don’t want to do. … All they can do it stop me from being a judge on another network for five years.”
Appointing Kris would be a controversial move, assured to generate publicity, but perhaps giving a judges' spot to a woman most famous for ensuring that shows documenting her daughters' lives appear on virtually every channel might damage its credibility.
