Justin Bieber murder plot

Police in New Mexico say they’ve uncovered a bizarre plot to murder Justin Bieber, along with his bodyguard and two other men.
According to a police affidavit, Dana Martin, who is serving a life sentence for participating in a 2000 Vermont murder, recruited two men to carry out the crimes.
Martin allegedly recruited Mark Staake, whom he’d met in prison, and Staake’s nephew Tanner Ruane, to kill and castrate two men in Vermont last month and then make their way to New York City to abduct and kill Bieber and the pop star’s bodyguard.
Bieber was scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 28 and 29. Martin is alleged to be obsessed with the young singer, and even has a tattoo of the Stratford teen on his leg.
Martin had attempted to contact Bieber on several occasions, and was upset when the singer did not respond, according to the police affidavit.
None of the intended victims was hurt. Staake was arrested in Vermont on outstanding warrants, while Ruane was arrested later in New York, allegedly in possession of pruning shears that were meant to be used to castrate two of the victims.
Police say the alleged co-conspirators also discussed using paisley ties to strangle their victims, because that’s what Martin used in his previous crimes.
The affidavit does not make it clear whether the first two would-be victims are in any way connected to Bieber.
