Many fans were rooting for child stars, Malcolm Jamal Warner and
Regina King, but the love of the two ‘80s sitcom actors is now
reportedly over.
After two years of dating, Regina and Malcolm, who both starred in
NBC series in their youth, have ended their romance, according to US Weekly.
“He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore,” said an anonymous source who
reported that Malcolm asked Regina and her teenage son to move out of
his residence.
Unlike many younger celebrities, the two, each 42, have remained
relatively quiet about their relationship. In 2011, the two denied
engagement rumors, but Regina assured that things were moving along
nicely.
“I believe the universe has a plan, and we probably wouldn’t have
been ready years ago. We both had to do whatever we had to do to be
ready for each other now,” she told Parade magazine in 2012.
According to the source, the “Southland” star is “heartbroken” about the split.
